Unpanel
The Un-Panel is designed to bring more audience interaction into the mix, be more engaging, and meaningful. It flips the panel around, where each panelist asks the audience a key question, and the audience has a chance to develop their own perspective before hearing from the panelist. Here’s how it works:
-
Our Un-Panelists prepare one burning question they have about the topic
-
Each panellist gives an introduction to their theme and presents a question to the audience
-
After all panelists have asked their questions, the audience breaks into groups of 3 and chooses a question they want to either answer, critique or question (we have developed a way to do this over Zoom for large groups)
-
The audience will be led to our companion application (meet.ps), where they will post their questions. Based on the numbers of votes the questions receive, your UnModerator will select questions for
-
There is a conversation between groups and panelists until time runs out.
Deep Dives
Deep Dives are essentially break-out sessions, and are a chance for participants to engage more directly and intimately with speakers. The first 20 minutes is dedicated to a lightning round where Deep Dive leaders have one minute to present their topic. Once you get a feel for the topics, you then get to choose which speaker you’d like to sit in with, you will select your breakout through the Schedule tab on meet.ps.
Deep dives are an open conversation with speakers. The speaker will open with their own perspective for the first 10 minutes, and then the floor will open for a broader, interactive conversation.
Interactive Lunch
Come connect with participants and speakers in the Online Town by Siempre, a novel conference software that allows you to navigate the virtual world just like you were lunching at a real conference. Grab some food, make yourself comfortable and dive in for some awakened conversations.
