Adam Gazzaley
Dr. Adam Gazzaley obtained an M.D. and Ph.D. in Neuroscience at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He is currently the David Dolby Distinguished Professor of Neurology, Physiology and Psychiatry at University of California, San Francisco and the Founder & Executive Director of Neuroscape, a translational neuroscience center at UCSF engaged in technology creation and scientific research.
Alexander Beiner
Alexander Beiner is a writer, facilitator and cultural commentator. He's the co-founder of Rebel Wisdom, a media platform and retreats organisation. and of Open Meditation, a non-religious meditation school based in London. He's also the author of a novel on shamanism, and a member of the Breaking Convention committee. Alexander is especially interested in the intersection between psychedelics and meditation, and how both can be used together safely for personal growth.
Aneel Chima
Aneel Chima, PhD, is director of the Division of Health and Human Performance and of the Stanford Flourishing Project. He is co-founder and managing partner of AT THE CORE which specializes in facilitating actualization through enhancing the emotional, social, and neurophysiological drivers of optimal team and leadership performance.
Anna Lisa Adelberg
Anna-Lisa Adelberg is a recognized healer, spiritual teacher and Co-Founder of the Luminous Awareness Institute that offers students an awakening and healing path synthesized from Tibetan Buddhism, developmental psychology, neurophysiology and subtle energy.
Ariel Garten
Ariel Garten is the CEO and co-founder of InteraXon, the maker of MUSE, a brain sensing headband which provides real time audio feedback during meditation practices. Ariel and her team’s work has been featured in hundreds of articles in over 20 countries.
Bia Labate
Dr. Beatriz Caiuby Labate (Bia Labate) is a queer Brazilian anthropologist who immigrated to the U.S. in 2017. She has a Ph.D. in social anthropology from the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil. Her main areas of interest are the study of plant medicines, drug policy, shamanism, ritual, and religion.
Carl H. Smith
Carl H Smith is the Director of the Learning Technology Research Centre and Principal Research Fellow at Ravensbourne University London. He is also co-founder of the Cyberdelics Society and the London Experimental Psychonautic Club. He is focused on using both the technological and biological means to alter, probe and study the spectral nature of consciousness through Holotechnica, Hyperhumanism, Contextology (Context Engineering), Double Consciousness and Technomancy.
Cassandra Vieten
Cassandra Vieten is Executive Director of the John W. Brick Foundation, Scholar-in-Residence at the Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination at the University of California, San Diego, and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Noetic Sciences. She is a psychologist and mind-body medicine researcher. Her research has focused on spirituality and health, transformative experiences and practices, and the development of mindfulness-based interventions for emotional well-being.
Charlie Hartwell
Charlie is a change agent who shepherds ideas, resources and talent to drive sustainable growth. Passionate about transformation and innovation; Charlie was President of Ideas to Go, an innovation-consulting firm helping Fortune 500 companies on the front end of their innovation cycle. He is a Harvard Business School graduate who has led, founded, run and worked in organizations in 16 different industries.
David J. Muehsam
David Muehsam is a biophysicist whose work focuses on the biophysical transduction mechanisms and therapeutic applications of electromagnetic fields (EMFs), the biophysical bases of yoga, meditation and mind-body therapies, and the connections between the arts and sciences.

East Forest
Since 2008 EAST FOREST has been the leader of underground ‘sound meditation’ ceremonies around the world. While his “blissful” (NPR) and “beautiful wash” (Paste) of ‘electro-acoustic orchestral ambient pop’ can be contextualized along with Aphex Twin, Philip Glass and Sigur Ros, the fundamental mission of his project is to create sonic architecture for others to explore their inner space.
Erik Davis
Erik Davis is an author, podcaster and award-winning journalist whose work explores the intersection of technology, counterculture and the esoteric. His latest book, 'High Weirdness', explores the new counterculture of drugs, esoterica and visionary experience that emerged in the 1970's - spearheaded by three pioneering figures: Terence McKenna, Philip K Dick and Robert Anton Wilson.
Florencia Bollini
Founder of NANA, a company that fosters a new model for mental healthcare, Florencia Bollini has more than a decade of experience serving and integrating psychedelic compounds in the African shaman tradition and has become one of the foremost visionaries and pioneers of plant medicine in the Western world.
Heather Hargraves
Heather Hargraves, MA, NM-T is a neurofeedback/neuromeditation therapist. Heather’s research interests investigate the neurological underpinnings of various states of consciousness, including dissociation, meditation, psychedelics and various polyphasic states of consciousness, associated with shamanic practices. Her masters research focused on the therapeutic induction of altered states of consciousness, based on research findings related to psilocybin (i.e., magic mushrooms).
Jahan Khamsehzadeh
Jahan Khamsehzadeh, Ph.D. completed his dissertation on psychedelics in the Philosophy, Cosmology, and Consciousness program at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) in San Francisco. He will publish his dissertation—which relates psychedelics to evolution, ecology, and technology—as a book this summer.
Jamie Wheal
Jamie Wheal is the Co-author of global bestseller Stealing Fire and the Co-Founder of the Flow Genome Project, an international organization dedicated to the research and training of ultimate human performance.
Janis Phelps
Janis Phelps, PhD, has been a professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS), San Francisco, CA. for the past 22 years. A licensed clinical psychologist and LMFT, she has held faculty positions there in the East-West Psychology graduate program and in the clinical psychology doctoral program. She has also served as the Dean of Faculty at CIIS for the graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. She is currently the Director of the CIIS Center for Psychedelic Therapies.
Jay Sanguinetti
Jay Sanguinetti is the assistant director of the Center for Consciousness Studies in Tucson, Arizona, which organizes the largest international conference on the science of consciousness. He completed his Ph.D from the University of Arizona on neural processes of visual perception and unconscious processes. His current research is focused on how non-invasive brain stimulation such as trans-cranial ultrasound can enhance human cognition and well-being, and augment meditation practice.
Jeffery A. Martin
Dr. Jeffery A. Martin is a founder of the Transformative Technology space, serial entrepreneur and social scientist who researches personal transformation and the states of greatest human well-being. He spent the last 10 years conducting the largest international study on persistent non-symbolic experience (PNSE), which includes the types of consciousness commonly known as: enlightenment, nonduality, the peace that passeth understanding, unitive experience, and hundreds of others.
Joshua Fields
Joshua Fields is Executive Director of Consciousness Hacking. He holds a BA in Economics and Management from Oxford University and an MA in Philosophy and Consciousness from CIIS. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and acts an advisor to several companies in the human transformation space.
Josh Meadow
Josh Meadow is a conscious community builder and events producer based in the Bay Area. He is the Chief Operations Officer for Consciousness Hacking, and the co-founder and Executive Producer of the Awakened Futures Summit. He also serves as Director of Events for the Chacruna Institute for Psychedelic Plant Medicines, and was the lead producer and head of operations for the Psychedelic Liberty Summit, the largest virtual psychedelics conference ever.
Julia Mossbridge
Julia Mossbridge, M.A., Ph.D. is a Visiting Scientist at the Institute of Noetic Sciences (IONS), the CEO and Research Director of Mossbridge Institute, LLC, and a Visiting Scholar in the Psychology Department at Northwestern University.
Her research interest is primarily to understand how time is perceived by the conscious and subconscious minds.
Kat Conour
Kat Conour is a psychotherapist, facilitator, and experiential educator currently being trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and with MAPS to become an MDMA for PTSD therapy provider through Sage Integrative. With a background in non-profits, philanthropy, corporate consulting, and community organizing, Kat is passionate about supporting individuals and organizations in the psychedelic community turn their values and vision into aligned action.
Liana Gillooly
Liana Gillooly comes to us from a diverse background that spans across anti-war and drug reform activism, event design and art curation. As a passionate activist at Boston University, she was the president of the BU Anti-War Coalition and spent a summer in the Middle East with the human rights watch group International Solidarity Movement.
Lia Mix
Lia Mix, MS, MFT, is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the chair of the CIIS CPTR Alumni Association. She is the founder and CEO of Enthea, a health insurance company dedicated to consciousness-focused healthcare.
Lindsay Briner
Lindsay is an executive transformative coach, consultant, and researcher. Lindsay has been supporting individuals, communities, and businesses that focus on human optimization beyond wellbeing and into 21st century flourishing and modern illumination for over 10 years. Some of the companies she has consulted for include The Chopra Foundation, Neurohacker Collective, the Centre for Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona, the Transformative Technology Lab and many others.
Martin Dinov
Martin Dinov, Ph.D. is Cofounder of the AI startup Maaind and Cofounder of Hack the Senses. At Maaind, they enhance human cognitive capacities and productivity through powerful AI and neuroscience-driven software. They focus on weaving together the best of machine and human capabilities, helping each complement the other. Hack the Senses is a public engagement project supported by a Wellcome Trust People Award.
Maureen Pelton
Maureen has a Masters of Science in Social Work degree. Her 33 years of professional experience includes integrative psychotherapy, transformational coaching, consulting to over 150 organizations, training health care professionals, facilitating workshops, and leading spiritual retreats. She was the host of the Learning Well Talk Radio Show and taught courses at the Integrative Health Education Center at Normandale Community College.

Rick Doblin
Rick Doblin, Ph.D., is the founder and executive director of the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). He received his doctorate in Public Policy from Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, where he wrote his dissertation on the regulation of the medical uses of psychedelics and marijuana. Rick studied with Dr. Stanislav Grof and was among the first to be certified as a Holotropic Breathwork practitioner.
Robin Arnott
Robin Arnott to our speaker list: Robin is a game designer and longstanding public speaker in the industry of consciousness technology. He was featured in Netflix’s Screenland and the documentary Game Loading: Rise of the Indies.
Roger Walsh
Roger Walsh, M.D., Ph.D., D.H.L. graduated from Queensland University with degrees in psychology, physiology, neuroscience, and medicine, and then came to Stanford University as a Fulbright Scholar where he trained in psychiatry. His enthusiasm for human development is palpable through his publications where he converges neuroscience and psychological wellbeing with ecology, spiritual practice, meditation, and shamanism.
Rohan Dixit
Rohan Dixit is founder and CEO of Lief Therapeutics, a digital mental health and medical device company. He is also founder of The Internet Party, a nonprofit that supports political revolutions through direct, technology-enabled democracy. Rosalind Watts
Clinical psychologist, Psychedelic Research Group at Imperial College London. Dr Rosalind Watts is the clinical lead of the Imperial College London Psilocybin for Depression study. She trained as a clinical psychologist and practised psychotherapy for 6 years before joining the Imperial Psychedelic Research Centre (run by Dr Robin Carhart Harris and Professor David Nutt) as a therapist ‘trip sitter’.
Sarah Hashkes
Sarah Hashkes, CEO or Radix Motion (www.radixmotion.com). Sarah is utilizing her research in cognitive neuroscience and psychedelics to create 3D human movement data channels. She is trying to disrupt the way we interface with technology using an embodied cognition approach that focused on users well being and ability to foster a deeper connection that can only be reached through physical interactions.
Sarah Ticho
Sarah has spent her career working across the interdisciplinary arts, academia, healthcare and immersive technology as a producer, curator and researcher. She is the founder of Hatsumi, a research and design studio that works at the intersection of arts, health and immersive technology to develop experiences that challenge how we think and feel about the world and imagine the future of health and wellbeing. She is a freelance producer with Explore Deep and Healthcare Lead at Immerse UK.
Shamini Jain
Dr. Shamini Jain is a psychologist, scientist, and Founder and CEO of the Consciousness and Healing Initiative (CHI), a collaborative accelerator that connects scientists, health practitioners, educators and artists to help lead humanity to heal ourselves. She is also Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at UC San Diego.
Shinzen Young
Shinzen Young is an American mindfulness teacher and neuroscience research consultant. His systematic approach to categorizing, adapting and teaching meditation, known as Unified Mindfulness, has resulted in collaborations with Harvard Medical School, Carnegie-Mellon University and the University of Vermont in the bourgeoning field of contemplative neuroscience.

Tim Mullen

At Xerox PARC he developed patented applications of wearable brain-computer interface (BCI) technology.
Tricia Eastman
Tricia Eastman is writer, medicine women and pioneer in the psychedelic movement. Eastman offers highly curated retreats in countries where use is legal working with iboga, psilocybin mushrooms, and 5-MeO-DMT. She has been initiated into Bwiti traditions of Fang and Ngonde Missoko tradition, as well as facilitated the psychospiritual iboga program for Crossroads Treatment Center in Mexico.
